our ongoing response as a church
We are open again for live services!
We have online services still for whatever your preference is.
Physical gatherings, ministries, and activities are still suspended.
Full Update from
As of February 17, 2021
Hey everybody. I want to give you an update where we stand on providing live services in the building.
The lockdown has been lifted and we are now in the Red category which allows us to go back to live services with similar limitations: max 30% of capacity, masks worn by everyone, social distancing required, quick entry and exit with no fellowshipping in the building, and pre-registrations for contact tracing if needed. That stuff is still required.
So, I’m excited to announce that we are re-opening again for live services on the last Sunday of February, Feb. 28.
All languages will have services.
As before, the English and the Spanish will meet at both 9 and 11 due to the capacity limitation. Our Arabic and Chinese will only meet at 11 am as before.
So, we are excited about re-opening. Each Tuesday around noon we will open the web site for reservations. Just go to and you’ll see registration buttons.
We don’t yet have a separate kids' experience, although we are working toward that. But we have these cool little personal lap desks and busy bags for kids with all kinds of fun activities in them. I kinda’ wish we had them for adults. And during the service Mrs Kimberly always brings a cool short sermonette just for the kids.
We hope you can join us Sunday, Feb 28, unless you have a medical reason to not come, or you are just not yet comfortable to come. That’s ok. We will still provide a quality online experience each Sunday for you if you are not yet ready to return.
We all have different perspectives on the restrictions during the covid crisis. So I simply ask that we all respect that others may have a different perspective from the personal ones each of us have. None of us has the perfect answer, so we must extend grace to each other.
And, we are committed to safety. We have over 45 plexiglass shields around the building, we have a very high level cleaning policy that exceeds government expectations, including using a high tech electrostatic fogger we use on chairs and other areas that kills germs.
So, I hope to see you that last Sunday of February. If aren’t ready to come yet, then join us online.
